How to use Celebrex

Celebrex should be taken with food at least 1 hour before or 2 hours after taking aspirin or other anti-inflammatory medicines. Taking aspirin with food may reduce the time it takes to metabolize some of the other medicines that cause an increase in plasma levels of some anti-inflammatory medicines. If you take a medicine that is taken by mouth that contains a medicine called indomethacin, take with it. It is important not to take this medicine with a high-fat meal as this may delay the effects of this medicine.

Tell your doctor or pharmacist about any prescription or over-the-counter medicines you take, including vitamins and herbal medicines. These may affect Celebrex and you should check with your doctor or pharmacist before taking Celebrex with any medicine for pain or inflammation. Taking Celebrex with a prescription medicine may increase the chance of side effects. Tell your doctor if you are taking or have recently taken any other medicines for your pain or inflammation, including anti-inflammatory medicines and corticosteroids.

If you are taking any of the medicines listed above, tell your doctor or pharmacist promptly.

There are some serious side effects to using Celebrex, but they do not happen very often. These include:

• muscle pain
• weakness or weakness
• headache
• difficulty sleeping
• fever
• rash
• trouble talking

• This drug is used to treat the symptoms of osteoarthritis (SCO) and rheumatoid arthritis (RA) and to decrease the risk of developing a heart attack or stroke in people with a known allergy to Celebrex, or to reduce the risk of developing a stroke in people with a known allergy to any other NSAID, such as aspirin or ibuprofen.
• This drug is available only with a doctor’s prescription. It is not recommended for use in children and adolescents (aged below 18 years). Its use is not recommended for use in patients with severe heart failure or those have not responded to other drugs.

• In a randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled trial of people with RA who were receiving aspirin, ibuprofen, or naproxen for 3 months or longer, Celebrex tablets were associated with an increased incidence of cardiovascular events such as heart attack, stroke, and cerebrovascular accidents.
• In another study of people with RA who were receiving aspirin or naproxen for 3 months or longer, Celebrex tablets were not associated with a lower incidence of serious cardiovascular events or other complications of aspirin or naproxen use.

Celebrex is a selective nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) that helps treat pain and inflammation. It works by blocking the production of prostaglandins, substances in the body that cause pain and inflammation. By reducing the production of prostaglandins, Celebrex helps to reduce pain and inflammation.

You should take Celebrex 200mg twice a day as directed by your doctor. If you’re taking Celebrex as prescribed, talk to your doctor before taking Celecoxib. Celebrex is an oral NSAID that can reduce pain, inflammation, and swelling in people with osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, and ankylosing spondylitis.
